qualifications at (the as then new) Thanet Technical College.
Now with over 30 years experience
in the catering industry (pizza restaurants, pizza delivery business)
Introduced (a long time ago) the first ever NO SMOKING seating area in the UK - Pizzaland Restaurants.
Designed /tested new marketing strategy that was adopted by national company assisting in increasing on - line sales to over 25% of total sales.
Responsible for changes to a
corporate web site for a national company of over 500 stores that in the UK produced
over £8,000 sales on its first day, with estimated additional income well in
excess of £1,500,000 a year.
Designed / ran new structured training /
appraisal scheme, evaluated for national company introduction.
Introduced various operational
improvements now implemented through out a national company ranging from
product issues to suggestive selling material.
Held high operation positions with
national UK companies (area manager, regional manager, training manager) also
have been a successful franchisee with 20% YOY sales growth.
Written original company training
manuals. - Set up original Snappy tomato
pizza in the UK.
Turned 2 franchise operations
around (6 stores in 3 years).
